The laser vent on the roof should be cleaned every ~6 months. This page documents how.

Cleaning Instructions

Grab a wire brush from the red cabinet in the welding area.
Go up with a spotter. Take sunglasses since the white roof is very bright.
Jam the red Featherlite ladder under the roof access ladder outside.
