Transition Project List

There are currently dozens of projects unclaimed and unsponsored.

The deadline for these transition projects to be finished, removed, or approved for new homes is September 1, 2013.

If you have would like to claim ownership over a project, sponsor it as an item to stay, or add details as to what it's waiting on, feel free to edit. At minimum, sponsoring a project says you intend to be accountable for taking it to completion or removal, and/or pitching it for project storage before the deadline arrives.

If adding new projects, add to the end please.

Projects that are completed, please strikethrough and add STATE and (reason) to end of line ie: - REMOVED, DONE, ABANDONED, SCRAP (please also give reason in brackets if required), rather than deleting, so projects can be referred to be number.

This page can be deleted once the new policy is in effect.

3. MaxNC - Waiting on new drivers, drivers have been ordered (Aug 15).
4. James' 3d printer - James Ravenhill plans completion by mid-August, or will remove.
5. Cupcake printer - AndyL sponsors, would like an update from whoever last worked on it.
6. Other(?) 3d printer - ??
7. Vinyl Cutter - AndyL sponsors, would like an update.
8. Large format printer - AndyL sponsors, would like an update.
9. Aquaponics - Abandoned by Mike B, given okay to be demolished
10. Pinball machine - Broken/Staying as a feature (?)
11. Piano fundraiser - One sold and removed, other also sold and waiting delivery. Money needs to be paid back to auction.
12. TV fundraiser - Some working & waiting selling, some fixed. Alan may know?
13. LN2 Dewars - Zero hold vacuum, James suggests selling or junking but keeping hose.
14. Magnetic tumbler - Kevin/Matt sponsors and will address
15. Laser vac table - Kevin/Matt sponsors, waiting on laser revival
16. Radial arm saw - Matt sponsors, waiting safety, blade, woodshop rebuild.
17. Pegboard - Matt sponsors, 75% given away, remainder waiting woodshop rebuild.
18. Makerfaire sign - Matt sponsors, awaiting paint or plasma cutting and chain
19. Big drilpress repair - Matt sponsors, Nate fixed electrically, works, levers now repaired. - DONE
20. Giant 7#seg displays - - DONE, fixed by Jim.
21. LED printer sign - Removed by Jim, was James'. - REMOVED

23. Boxes of light ballasts - ?? (sell/liquidate?)
24. Countertop dishwasher - Broken, needs diagnosing
25. Liam/Terry's CNC mill - DONE. Terry is now a member, mill is on personal shelf, and mill will be on semi-permanent loan to PS when complete.

27. Bay wash sink - ?? to install where the aquaponics is sitting as its the only viable option.
28. Jim's 6 boxes of drills/toys/etc - ??
29. Scoperta chairs/frames - All Scoperta materials have been moved/re-organized to occupy the dedicated Scoperta space under the stairs; once exception is a massage chair undergoing robotic conversion; it will follow the new project policy, including paper notices affixed to the chair.
30. Jim's Pressure washer. - REMOVED
31. Sliding compound miter saw (x4) - Done. One donated to ENTS, one stays, one is SOLD.

34. Light control system - REMOVED. Jim salvaged and removed.
35. Large steel console. - REMOVED AND RECYCLED
36. Thinner console - ?? Needs KB/mouse wires fixed.
37. Fire alarm equipment - on hold due to the fact that all electrical runs for this system must be in conduit. (needs money from protospace funds or membership for completion)

40. Babyfood jars - REMOVED (or garbage, haven't seen them in a while).

44. Couch without cushions on it. - DONE (cushions found and added)
45. Dave/Kevin's CNC Zen Garden. - REMOVED (relocated to member's shelves)

47. CNC Plasma cutter - REMOVED. Jim took parts home, Brian donated CNC parts, project to be pitched later.
48. Generator - ??, Jim's, wiring is twitchy, needs diagnosis, fuel cans need to have water removed.

50. James's Multisolvent rebuild - James sponsors, will add writeup later
51. Common Use Computers #1, #2, #3 - Matt sponsors, #1 is done, others waiting woodshop/storage rebuild
