Overview

Members get a personal storage shelf to store their personal projects and tools. Many times, members temporarily need more storage space to work on larger projects. Taking all items home every night is inconvenient.

A new storage policy was passed at the July EGM meeting to enable large projects to be stored at Protospace. This is allowed only if the project, deadline and storage location was approved by the membership.

Assignable Storage Bays

There are certain designated storage bays built for Large Project Storage. In addition, some projects may be stored outside these areas, if also approved.

Creating A Project Link

  1. Create a new page in the wiki
  2. In the editor enter: {{subst:Template:ProjectStorage}}
  3. Save
  4. Edit to add the appropriate information, decorate as you see fit


Transition To New System

New storage rules come into effect September 1, 2013. Currently there are dozens of projects unclaimed and unsponsored in the space. See brief transition list below for details:
