Usage Notes

  • Max temperature is usually far too hot for normal soldering, keep at reasonable temperature to extend tip life
  • Do not unplug unit prior to cooldown below 140'F, fan stays on to cool air after switches turned off
  • Careful where hot air tip is pointed, is scalding hot air capable of lighting fires
  • Keep sponge wet and regularly tin and wipe tip to keep clean
  • Do not bend air or soldering cords excessively, will ruin unit
