Usage Notes

  • Requires training
  • Can cut both metals and woods, but is used only for wood and plastic (and burger buns) now because we have a separate metal-cutting bandsaw (our third, actually)
  • Blade must be changed to cut plastics

Maintenance

Change blades and Set-Up a Bandsaw describes essentials but PS blades have often been damaged by being bent, and a slight kink in the blade will make a noise, although the blade works as it should.

Repaired and upgraded by Joseph in January/February 2016.
