Come out and embrace your inner geek! Meet your local hackerspace while hobnobbing with fellow geeks. Whether you want to talk about Star Trek, Assembly, Arduinos, Astronomy, or Circuit Bending, there will be someone who shares your passions! Beer and pop will be available (for a nominal fee), as well as snacks and other refreshments.

• DVI projector, PS3, Rock Band are all set up and ready to go. Amplifier plays PS3 audio when CD input is selected.
• Can anyone provide 2 more speakers and very long speaker wire? If there's lots of people standing by the server rack, the only way they'll be able to hear is if there's more speakers placed right around there. Current speaker wire in the space won't get back that far (and MORE speakers are better than just moving the 2 existing speakers).

Audio / Video Notes

There's an email I posted to the Google Group with subject line "Notes on audio setup, and request for 2 more speakers with LONG speaker wire." describing how to use audio in detail. In a nutshell: the audio cable under the table isn't only for plugging into your laptop. Use it to receive the wireless mic audio.

Open up the transmitter and receiver units. Power them up by holding down on/off button for 2 seconds. Select VCR on amp to receive the audio from that cable.

Don't worry about the tape and Y-adapter on the top of the transmitter. Just plug into the one hole that is not taped over.
