Multi-touch Workshop
Every other Monday @ 7pm beginning 14 September
Organizer: Adam <ajbracegirdle@gmail.com>
Open to: Members
Fees: fluctuating as need dictates
Description: In this workshop I will teach, from beginning to end, how to make one
of the three types of multi-touch surface. We'd probably be looking at
starting "light" (excuse the pun) with something like a Direct
Illumination (DI) or Frustrated Total Internal Reflection (FTIR)
table. Once we have a rig we can use it as a development tool for
making applications in either Flash, Processing or C. I was thinking
we could start with a calendar app that organizes the schedule in the
space. We could even add in Google Calender API functionality and
online time requests. Contact Adam at the above email address to sign up.
