Most of my stuff revolves around having permanent secure space. As space is a goal, I think this is OK.

It's called "open" because I wanted to build out a cheap kit way to build these that was based off of opened code from the arduino playground. The code from geekphysical is provided as hex, and is for only nine LEDs and requires more elaborate soldering. As a kit for a workshop, the design goals were Cheap, Open, and hackable. Anyone should be able to pull the ATmega out of this kit and reprogram it in an Arduino or put in their own ATmega programed however they wanted in the future.

I'm building a kit-amp. The amplifier is finished, and it works, I just need to put it in a box I already have.
Update 2009-12-08: The amplifier is almost fully in the case... finally! All of the hard work is done, I just have to drill another hole or two and solder the connectors back on!
